Century PSX Range

The Century PSX Series is especially designed for heavy load discharge applications, supported by a 5-year design life in float applications. By using strong grids and specially designed active material, the PSX series offers stable performance during high current discharge requirements providing 30% more power output than the standard series.

Technical Features

Valve Regulated Design

The batteries are equipped with a safe low pressure venting system which releases excess gas and automatically reseals should there be a build-up of gas within the battery. Note battery should be charged in an appropriately vented enclosure.

Long Service Life

Heavy duty lead-calcium grids ensure mild corrosion and enable a long designed service life for standby use under optimal float charge conditions and below optimal operating temperature of 25oC .

Excellent and High Efficient Discharge

Century batteries are equipped low resistant plates and conducting parts, which decrease the internal resistance and ensure the highest discharging efficiency.

Triplex Sealed Construction

Valve regulated sealed construction and triplex strengthened sealing on terminals and posts prevent electrolyte leakage, and guarantee the air tight and liquid tight state of batteries in normal operation and prevent external air from entering battery inner.

Low Self Discharge

Because of the use of lead-calcium grids alloy, Century UPZ batteries have low self discharge and reliable performance. In room temperature, self discharge ratio per month of Century UPZ battery is about 3% of the battery capacity.

High Security

Century UPZ batteries are equipped with explosion-proof safety valves to prevent production of redundant gas.

High Efficiency of Recovery

Unique formulas are used in lead paste of positive post and ensure the battery can be recharged easily to a normal level.

No Electrolyte Stratification

Special additives are use in the electrolyte to give it a gelatinous consistency without flowing, leaking or stratification, and make all parts of plates react evenly.

Recyclable Materials used in Battery

All Century lead acid batteries can be recycled though the world class Century Yuasa Batteries’ recycling program. Our network of more than 1,100 Battery Recycling Centres makes it easy for businesses and individuals to recycle their old battery free of charge and help us play our part in protecting our precious environment.
